What do you think about contouring your face with make up?

do you do this ?

is this common ?What do you think about contouring your face with make up?
As a make up artist, contouing is great, but you have to know how to do it. If you put a bronzer just under your cheekbones this will help with contour. But remember to blend, that is the key,the ones that think that it just looks like a dark line, they dont blend enough. It should almost look like a shadow. And dont make it too dark and dont use colour. Browns or any neutreals, depending on your skin tone will do.What do you think about contouring your face with make up?
Your welcome! Yes a matte brown would work just remember to not go too much darker than your skin tone, but dark enough to make the contouring stick out. Good luck! Report Abuse

I don't do it, and I think it's a bad idea. Most people end up with obvious striping on their face. The only thing I do that could be considered contouring is when I'm feeling fat in the face I put a light-colored blush on the apples of my cheeks and a dark bronzer on my cheekbones to fade them back and make me look more chiseled. I doubt it works, but it makes me feel better. If I want to brighten my eyes, I put pale white or yellow shadow on my lips and on the inner corners. This works wonders.
what does this mean??..
