It is important to clean eye make-up off your face daily because, you can end up with Stye's and also Systs. I had a Stye before on both eyes, and they are sooo annoying, they are like little spots and they get bigger and bigger gradually, and they take ages to go, they either pop themselves, or just go down. Mine went down, ( i had these a year ago) and i can still feel a little lump in my eye where it hasnt completely gone. I will probably have them in my eyes forever now. All becuase i didnt take my eye make-up off regularly. . If you do get a Stye or a Syst.. sometimes you have to have them cut out of your eye. So i would definately recommend taking your make-up off every night before you go to bed. It doesnt take that long.. Hope this helped. Why is it important to clean eye make up off your face daily?
If you don't your make up will get all over your pillow when you sleep and your eyeliner will run. It's also bad for your skin. Why is it important to clean eye make up off your face daily?
If you leave eye makeup on and around your eyes, your skin will get less oxygen and that causes wrinkles early on. You'll get crows feet! Also, if you don't take off your eye makeup all the way it makes it pretty hard to apply it again the next day.
Same with foundation. Even wearing foundation causes premature wrinkles. So at least make sure you wash it off every night.
It clogs your pores and makes the skin sensitive and eventually it will get irritated and you will have to stop wearing it for like a week until it heals. I speak from experience.
Otherwise it will make you have spots! This is a professionals way to take of makeup:
Removing the makeup in the evening is a must in order to let your skin breathe and regenerate during the whole night. Understandably, late night tiredness causes many women to fall asleep without removing the makeup, but that can be very damaging to the skin. Leaving makeup on your skin during the night clog your pores and breakout may occur more frequently. When makeup is impacted in the pores, it can make them look larger and after a few days blackheads and pimples may appear.
Before you begin removing the makeup you will need:
Eye makeup remover
Facial cleanser
Cleansing milk
A towel
Cotton pads
Tonic
Moisturizer
Step One
Start by removing your eye makeup.
Removing mascara can be very difficult, especially if it is waterproof. To remove mascara and eye shadows you will need an eye makeup remover. Moisten a cotton pad with a little bit of the remover and gently wipe each eye. Close your eyes and carefully rub downwards on the lashes. Repeat this a few times until all traces of mascara are off. Never stretch the delicate skin around the eyes. Use another cotton pad if you have to and remove the eye shadows. In place of eye makeup remover you can use baby oil, wet wipes but never use regular makeup remover on your eyes.
Step Two
For the rest of your face use a cleanser, but never a soap unless it is specially designed for the face. Wet your face and apply facial cleanser. Gently rub into the face and don鈥檛 forget your neck. Concentrate on areas where you had makeup on 鈥?mouth, nose, cheekbones. Allow the cleanser to penetrate the skin for two/ three minutes.
Step Three
Rinse your face with lukewarm water to remove the cleanser and dry your skin with a towel. Rinse a number of times to remove all traces of both cosmetic and cleanser residue.
Step Four
Tone your skin
Use oil-free astringents appropriate for your skin type. Use it lavishly 鈥?apply with cotton pad and wipe until clean. The toners are one of the most important part of your daily regimen. They remove the traces of makeup, dirt and oil that your cleanser may have missed. The toners also reduce pores, eliminate oil and refine the skin.
Step Five
Moisturize your skin
Don鈥檛 forget to moisturize your skin after you have removed the makeup.
Other alternatives to remove the makeup:
Cleansing wipes - Besides being comfortable and always being on hand, you can use them during the day 鈥?to remove the lipstick from the lips, or the greasy eyeshadows.
Olive oil 鈥?it can be used to remove the makeup even the eye makeup
Baby oil 鈥?it removes all kinds of makeup and is especially good of removing the mascara. It鈥檚 appropriate for those with hyper-sensitive skin.
Tips:
Avoid washing off eye makeup with facial cleanser 鈥?it can irritate your eyes
Don鈥檛 use eye makeup remover to remove face makeup
Makeup should be removed from every where it was applied to
Always apply moisturizer
Never go to bed without removing the makeup 鈥?it only takes a few minutes
Cleansing the face should also include the neck and behind ears area
Use soft motions to remove the makeup
Never stretch your skin
If you can鈥檛 remove the makeup, repeat it a number of times
Choose oil-free products
This might Help! xx
not cleasning properly can create more problems. you can develope acne and blackheads.
It will clog your pores and cause either pimples or dry skin or itchy/sensitive skin. It could also get into your eye if your pillow rubs your eye when you're sleeping (or you subconsciously rub your eyes with your hands) and could cause an infection. Nastyyy.
Apparently, in rare cases, you can even partially clog your tear ducts (where tears are made).
