besides Japan %26gt;_%26lt;. Or how can I whip me up a batch?Where can I get white Geisha face make-up?
If you want the real stuff, Hannari-ya sells a set. But it's rather expensive...The full set is $300 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Geisha-or-Kabuki-REA鈥?/a> )
If you're only planning on using this once or twice in your life, dropping that much money on real geisha makeup strikes me as a waste. You can definitely get away with substitutes. You'll want a white base that looks matte (like porcelain -- if it looks wet or shiny it's not going to work), liquid black eye liner, a red pencil for the red around your eyes, and red lip color (preferably also matte, or at least no shinier than a satin finish -- nothing glittery, glossy, or pearly). I haven't tried it myself, but I've heard good things about Bill Nye cosmetics as a substitute for real geisha makeup.Where can I get white Geisha face make-up?
try ';Kryolan'; pure white water colour.
you can get it on ebay.
you mix it with water and there is no need to use a lot of colour cause it is very intense.
stage makeup works. i don't suggest oil based paints. look for a creme- to- powder compact in white. goes on in seconds, looks flawless, covers any blemish.
