Well, actually, what really helps is to use a liquid base/foundation first then lightly go over it with a powder. I use the True Match liquid makeup and Bare Natural powder and it lasts ALL DAY. Plus you can also lightly spray your face with aerosol hairspair and it helps keep makeup in place. Good Luck Hon!

  • How to apply make up foundation on man face with 2-3 days beard?

My man is always having a 2-3 days beard. His face skin is not having a smooth colour and it's a little bit rough. Once I tried to put some make up to hide some acne and this foundation was so much visible on him. I even could see some of foundation between his beard hairs.

How to apply make up foundation on the man face with 2-3 days beard? How to apply make up foundation on man face with 2-3 days beard?
he's a man. he doesn't need foundation. What you need to do is do some research on acne products and find which one works for him. I suggest perhaps a dermatologist. Make up is for girls for a reason. unless hes in a play do not belittle him like that. Doing that is just saying to him that you don't like the way he looks. It's actually quite rude that would even ask this. I hope he loves you enough to keep you, because honestly he shouldv'e dumped your *** a long time ago.How to apply make up foundation on man face with 2-3 days beard?
I agree with what she said.^ That is just wrong and rude...Also, side note..learn a little grammer. The entire paragraph just isn't written right. Report Abuse

What make up can be used to make my face more defined?

heyy,, i have quite a rounded face, its gradually getting more defined as i get older but for now what make up should I use to make it look slimmer? I have quite good cheekbones- how can I emphasise them?? thank you! xoxWhat make up can be used to make my face more defined?
    contouring!

i use laura geller shade and sculpt which is a great small compact that blends perfectly. countouting is when you emphasis the natural shadows and highlights of your face.

the dark contour should go under you cheek bones, either side of the nose and below the jaw line. highlights should go on the bridge, forehead and cheek bones up to the temple and brow in a backward 'c' shape.

go to you tube and search for contouring vidoeos. this is a great technique, but should only be done by those who have a good quality product and some skill with makeup- you don't want to make yourself look funny! What make up can be used to make my face more defined?
You can not do a lot unless you are a make up artist with years of training. Just wear simple make up that matches your skin tone and focus on your eyes, use eye liner and mascara to make your eyes look big and then a simple lip. Your face will get thinner as you get older but you can not change your face shape easily.

Contouring is your answer! I'd try to explain to you how to do it, but I think this will work better. Visuals are always good =]

Is there a way I can I get rid of the shine from my face without using make up?

Biore Shine Control Cleanser and Moisturizer: http://www.biore.com/usa/products/index.鈥?/a>

You can also take a very light dusting of translucent powder and dust it over your shiny spots. You will not notice you're wearing makeup. -- Try the Mineral Veil by Bare Minerals. Is there a way I can I get rid of the shine from my face without using make up?
well every morning i use clinique clarifying lotion 3 which seems to work really well (it kind of like toner, but removes oils). i have also have heard of ';rice paper'; which most of my friends use.Is there a way I can I get rid of the shine from my face without using make up?
brown paper napkins! just blot and your shine goes away.
Use: Oil-Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser from Neutrogena.

I use it and it takes away the shiny grease on my forehead and nose and cheeks for like an entire day. It works great!
use an anti-shine soap or toner
shine on face happens when the skin secretes excess sebum.

you could try the following non cosmetic way to reduce shine

    1. try a pore refining/ shine control/ oil control face wash/lotion... follow it up with a astringent/ toner... try neutrogena.

    2. alternatively try rubbing ice over your face after you wash your face. ice closes the pores temporarily hence reduces shine..

    3. else, try using blotting paper. ie oil control sheets from clean a nd clear, body shop etc

    hope it helped
Absolutely! Shine is caused by the natural oils in your face. The first step is to make sure you're nice and clean-- wash your face at least twice a day with a cleanser formulated for your skin.

Then what you need is oil-blotting sheets. They sell these at all drug stores, but a tissue, paper towel, or piece of toilet paper works equally well. Simply take the paper and blot away the shininess :)

How does make up affect ur face?

im doin a project and i need 2 no da guds and bads of make up danks 4 ur help! How does make up affect ur face?
it cracks your face. you get wrinkles which are impossible to get rid of....instead of making girls prettier, it actually makes them uglier. when the makeup is dry you face has the possibility of cracking into a million pieces, that's why girls must avoid hammers close to their faces at all times.

What should I apply on my face before using liquid make-up?

To make my face look smoother?

I saw the answer on a TV show but forgot, what it was called...any suggestions? What should I apply on my face before using liquid make-up?
You may have seen a primer or pore minimizer advertised. These can work for you to give you the smooth skin look you are looking for, but make sure you've got a great skin care regimen that you follow religiously at least twice daily. I don't use a primer, as I find my daily moisturizer does what I need before applying my foundation. Whatever you use, give yourself time for it to absorb in to your face before applying your foundation. Also, get plenty of rest and drink lots of water. That absolutely contributes to a healthy glow. What should I apply on my face before using liquid make-up?
Foundation is the base so it should be applied ALWAYS first thing. The eyes come next whatever you are using could be just a coat of mascara or the whole works eyeshadow liner and eyebrow pencil. Then the lipstick and finally the blusher to round it off.
Soap---Then Use Battery Acid---If That Dont Smoth Your Face Nothing Will---Keep It Out Of Your Eyes!!
    Some soap and water. lol
first u have to clean ur face with a creme cleanser and then MOSITURIZE! then after 10 minutes apply ur makeup
Exfoliation is a great thing to remember to do for immediate and for a long term smoothness regiment, but I agree with the primer answer - that's probably what you heard, other than that to look smoother you can use concealer under and over makeup??? Brushes???
I think that you're referring to a make up primer..

Primer would be something you should apply before your liquid foundation, some might even come with SPF...

well.. it acts as a make up base to help smoothen out your skin and help balance out skin tone... It also helps protect your skin from clog pores and stuff..

It might a little expensive but get a good brand for a primer cause it plays a important role for make up... It's suppose to protect your skin, right?
    Smashbox primer
I'm not sure what product you saw on TV was, but I just your ordinary facial cream with UV protection. It does the trick for me.
I think the answer you were looking for is a primer - it makes your makeup go on smoother and last for longer. Primer comes after moisturiser and before foundation.

(If you're in the US, Smashbox do one that is very popular.)

I wouldn't say this is an absolute necessity though - a good moisturiser should be fine, just let it absorb well before you apply makeup.
Start with an exfoliator and use a good moisturizer after drying off. You are never to young to start with a good regimen. And the more you spend, usually the better the quality. Clinique and Lancome make some awesome products and try their Teint Idole ultra foundation. It is like heaven in a bottle. It makes your skin smooth and it stays for hours and doenst wipe off on your clothes. Good for every type of skin. Good luck
Well, first off, you should wash your face, tone if necessary (alcohol-free), and then use an oil-free moisturizer w/ sunscreen. The moisturizer preps your skin for your makeup making it easier to apply, adds a smoother finish and lasts longer. Applying loose powder should add the final touch! :)
use a good face soap and moisturizer, let it soak in and then use your foundation.

  • Does every type of face suits make-up?

I have very strong features and it 's always seem to me that putting on make-up just adds more clatter.Does every type of face suits make-up?
My best friend has really strong features and never wears make-up. She asked a few friends to make-her up for special occassions in the past. Nobody could do it right - she ended up looking like a drag queen each time.

I am sure a professional make-up artist could do a great job on her, so, if she really cares that much, she needs to get professional advice and learn to do this herself.

We all think she is beautiful as she is, but it does depend on her mood. When she is happy, she is radiant, and really shines - no make-up can enhance that.Does every type of face suits make-up?
Well, having strong features is a really good thing. If you want to put on some makeup, just use some light eyeliner and lip balm. It'll give you that fresh, ready-to-face-the-world look!

    Good luck!
you are lucky if you look great without make up but i think every girl can look better with a little mascara, blusher and lip tint just to show off those strong features better
it kinda does....since you have a face with strong features (lucky) , you want people to pay attention to your features not the makeup so i would recommend maybe a little mascara or just nothing....natural maybe if youre going to a special event some eye liner
Of course every face can take make-up....

Make-up can make or break a person, according to its application. My tip, is to visit a department store for a makeover, they love applying make-up on people and showing of their handy work. Failing that, use these tips:

Emphasise ONLY ONE feature on your face,

    Stick with neutrel colours

and, always have a good base.

oh yeah, if im running late and dont have time to do my face. I would never leave the house without some rouge(blusher)
If you don;t need it don't use it. Simple as that. Not everyone needs makeup
    o yes
Yes, ALL face types can have makeup applied on them. Its just HOW you use it to enhance your features...highlighting the beautiful parts you are proud of and downplaying the strong features. Perhaps you want to read up on how to apply makeup or take even take a course? It'll be fun too! Women were meant to experiment and enjoy makeup!!!:)
I think it does... You just have to go for one that will fits you better...

You could go to a make up shop and ask a sale assistant to give you some advices about products and how to do it...
I'm jealous of you. I'm not a person who like to put on makeup every single day to make my cheekbones look nice and bold. Please don't wear make-up and destroy your beautiful feautures. Have you ever thought of trying out as a model or something like that with sttong features of your face? Anyway please don't wear any make-up!
your lucky then you dont need it! most people wear it to cover flaws or emphasise features. maybe you could just go for a natural look
Speaking from a guys point of view. I don't like much make up. I feel that's it's makes women look ugly although a little can make a woman look great. I prefer women with natural beauty not to look fake. You don't get to see the real woman.
For strong features I would use a little mascara and eye liner. Use a light eye shadow and add a little white at the very top edge of you eyebrow. Tjis makes your eyes look bigger and your face less cluttered. Add a clear or light pink lip gloss.
I think yeah but people need to get the right shade of make-up
If you get the right shades for your complexion and apply them very subtly, they will enhance you, rather than make you look harsh.

    Face make up?

    Hi

Please ,serious answers. As you can see in my profile that I am a male. I would like to know what face make up I can use . A co-worker of mine wears a sort of a light tan make up on her face. It looks so nice and i would like to try it. I am shy about asking her about what kind it is as I don't want her to know that I am a Cd at home. I don't mind asking you females out there. Guys no joking please. ThanksFace make up?
It could be foundation or powder. What look are you trying to achieve? If you really aren't comfortable asking her, tell her you are asking for a friend of yours that has been looking for a good product and you think your co-workers looks nice -- hopefully she will take it as a compliment.Face make up?
It really depends on your skin tone, unless your coworker has the same skintone as you it might not look as nice on. But if you really want to try out what she is wearing your going to have to brave it out and ask her.

I would start out with a tinted face mosterizer because then you can kind of get an idea of what color will transpire on your face when your ready to go buy it in the store; you'll know what color you need.

    Hope this helps....Good Luck
be brave and ask her youself, she probably was wearing a bronzer. ask her to put some on you to see how it looks
you could try tinted moisturizer, its not as heavy as foundation
    does cd mean... carrot donkey?
This is my new favorite make up

    Try this.

It hasn't broke out my skin and I have sensitive skin. So I believe it is an Excellent product.

Check out the entire website. It will help you figure out what shade to buy and all that.
Perhaps it's powder? That always has this bronze tan.

    Or moaybe just darker foundation.

I recommend you to go to a shop and look for the colour between foundations and powders.
    eye liner and powder
lol dont be shy if some people want to leave immature jockes about it then they're not mature to even have a yahoo, but you should try somthing that matches your skin like something that is close to your skin color so it makes you look natural oh and what does cd mean? hope this helps
    Hey!

I read ';light tan'; and here's what I got for you:

    1. I'm certain you'll start with a clean, toned (yes, even if you're a guy), and well-moisturized face, so now that the reminder's outta the way...try a tinted moisturizer- I'm not sure whether she had a glow going for her or not, but if you prefer something a little more matte try Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer (tinted moisturizer) in your color; for something more glowy, try Stila Illuminating tinted moisturizer (a lot of people get scared after reading the name; don't be. it gives a very subtle glow).

    2. Cover up any spots or blemishes you might have with a good concealer (if you wear something matte, then you can apply it on top of your tinted moisturizer; if you're going for glowy, wear it slightly thicker underneath- otherwise the matte spots on your otherwise glowy face will stick out!).

    3. Now you probably want to apply a bronzer- Maybelline's dream mousse ones are very easy to apply and very natural looking. For slightly more high end (and I'm so excited to share this with you, because this is the first thing that came in my mind after I read your question):

-NARS Zen blush- for contouring. It's better than bronzer, because it doesn't look muddy or turn orange after a few hours. And it really makes those cheekbones POP (trust me, I have a completely round face- with this on, I look like I have high cheekbones going for me).

-NARS Luster blush or Laguna bronzer- Luster is more of a golden apricot color and works beautifully to give that hint of a tan. Laguna is obviously a bit stronger as it's a bronzer- I'd recommend checking out which one suits your coloring most and getting that one. And yes, while these are expensive, they'll be an excellent investment because you need very little product to create a flawless (I mean this!) look, and so will last you a comparatively long while.

As for the idiot who made the Cd joke, please ignore him.

I hope you have a lot of fun with this and that my answer was somewhat helpful to you :)

    Mime Face Make-up/Dress-up help?

I wanna dress up as a mime!

But I can't find any decent white face paint and other make-up accessories stuff. Price doesn't really matter, as long as it's decent quality.. and maybe under 20 quid? And it should be obtainable from well-known high street shops? Because I can't buy off the internet.. and can't travel very far.

And any ideas where I could get bits for the outfit from?

And this is neccassarily for Halloween.. I've just wanted to dress up as a mime for a very long time, and the last attempt didn't go down too well. The face paint was a tacky children's Halloween one, and it made me look more like a Geisha. Lol. %26gt;_%26lt;Mime Face Make-up/Dress-up help?

Does the printed side of a flat sheet face up or down when you make a bed?

My husband and I have argued over this point for twenty years. I say the printed side of the top flat sheet is faced up, and he says the printed side or nicer side faces down so you can fold over the top. Please help Martha Stuart!Does the printed side of a flat sheet face up or down when you make a bed?
The printed side of the top flat sheet is always face down. You are supposed to see the print on both what you are lying on and what is going to cover you (face you) when you are between the sheets. A blanket is usually put over the top flat sheet and in folding the top sheet back, you will see the print. Take a good look at bedding displays sometime.Does the printed side of a flat sheet face up or down when you make a bed?
the printed side faces up not down
My Grandmother always put hers ';face down'; and turned it back so you could see the print. And thats the way I do mine.
What does it matter? I mean, who sees it except you and your husband??? Get non-printed sheets and it's not even an issue any more.
Printed side faces down. Then you fold it down about 1 foot over a blanket... now you can see the print.
it should face up of course!! look at how sheets are shown on the package!!
I'm a sheet person (you know-- some of you are shoe people, or purse people or hat people)-- so I want the print so I can see both sheets when I fold back the spread and top sheet. I figure I paid a really pretty penny for them-- I want to see them! Also, the seam of the hem at the top-- the rough side is opposite the print- yes it is-- go look! So, especially for bed fast persons-- put the rough hem edge away from the patient.
Your bed - do it how you like it - get seperate beds and do it both ways!
if you fold it over, it faces down, if you dont, face it up
Down, so that when you turn the sheet over at the top to cover

top edges of the blankets the pattern shows clearly.
    Printed side faces down.
The printed side always faces down towards the mattress. You are suppose to sleep against the good side of the sheet.

When you make the bed you fold town the top of the sheet to display the print.

I estimate that about 90% of people put the sheets on the wrong way.

    Are E.L.F. [Eyes.Lips.Face] make-up brushes good?

    What's your opinion? Your recommendations?Are E.L.F. [Eyes.Lips.Face] make-up brushes good?
I have tried the e.l.f. products extensively and have found that the brushes, while tempting since they are only $1 each, are of inferior quality and don't last very long. Rather harsh as well on the skin. The make up sponges, too, don't last long, fall apart quickly and just don't work well. e.l.f. is best for liptints, lipglosses, blushes, eyeshadows, containers, and makeup cases. Are E.L.F. What make up styles suit my face and will ascentuate my features?

I am 14, I have almond shaped eyes and high cheekbones.. My skin complexion is fair. I have brown hair with brown eyes, and my eyebrows look pretty natural- i heard thickish, natural eyebrows are in style now. My lips are thin, I have a small mouth. My nose is pretty much normal sized. Normally I would wear Ash ELF eyeliner and some coral colored blush, and maybe some powder eyeshadow- but i'm figuring that style is getting too old. I just want to come up with new styles to do my eyemakeup.. or face.. whatever. Thanks =)What make up styles suit my face and will ascentuate my features?
Well at 14 you want to keep it fresh and glowing, so a tinted moisturizer like Neutrogena Healthy Skin Glow will make your skin look fab.

To play up your cheekbones keep on using the coral colored blush, but also use a LIGHT bit of bronzer (I like the Physicians Formula kind) in the HOLLOWS of your cheeks to make your cheekbones really pop out.

As for your eyes I am wholeheartedly an advocate of the Almay eye collections. You can get a little kit with the shadow, eyeliner and mascara. I have brown eyes too and the one I got for my eyes really makes them pop.

As for your lips you will want to use a gloss with shimmer to really reflect light and make your lips look bigger. Don't go for lipstick that is dark or heavy because it will only make them look smaller. I would use a gloss like CoverGirl WetSlicks Diamond in a nice neutral shade.

Remember to play up one thing at a time. You don't want to look like a clown! What make up styles suit my face and will ascentuate my features?
Right now the style is natural. Try using a light natural pink blush, light pink lip gloss, and a light bronze eyeshadow. This should look great with your hairstyle and eyes, and should complement your complexion.

GUYS... does a pretty face make up for a small chest?

would you care if your girl has a really small chest, if she was really pretty?GUYS... does a pretty face make up for a small chest?
Honey, if 1000 guys on here tell you that yes, a pretty face makes up for it, you will still feel insecure.

Realize that immature boys (you didn't say your age, but I'm assuming you are still a teenager) may care, but as you get older, you will meet a REAL MAN who will love you for WHO YOU ARE and will not care about your appearance in any way.

Don't let it bother you. You're fine, and you have nothing at all to feel ashamed of or insecure about.

Now go out there and greet every day with a big smile and a positive attitude !!GUYS... does a pretty face make up for a small chest?
    yes...that and a b j can make up 4 anything...lol
Absolutely not. Be proud of who you are. Nothing is sexier than confidence.
No, but a ';real'; girl with personality does... big time.
I actually think it is an attractive point when she has these characteristics.. be proud of who you are...you are my type for sure..
    Beauty comes from the inside?
WOuld not bother me a pretty face is great.
There's someone out there for everybody
if I really like the girl, her chest, face, or butt doesn't matter. sure I like pretty girls but do you want to go out with a guy because he thinks your face is pretty? good luck
A pretty face is the best physical attribute a girl can have. There is no need to make up for a small chest, it is what it is. If the size of a girls knockers if going to determine whether or not a guy likes a girl, she is better off without him.
I would have to see your face and breast together for me to answer this question....

    Greasy Face, Make Up?

When I put my make up on, it looks good at first, then it will smear not even throughout the day. How do I prevent this? I also have a greasy face. :( Thank you.Greasy Face, Make Up?
Maybelline Mineral Power makeup --- get the powder foundation that closely matches your skin tone and the mineral veil. Get a huge fluffy fat brush to buff it on and you will have an airbrushed look that will glow yet absorb more of the oils. Then brush on some light blush or bronzer for your cheeks and some mascara and lipstick.Greasy Face, Make Up?
This happens all the time to me , but then I bought a specific range of make-up that is supposed to last a long time and that helped. Just look in any store for products that say it will stay on long :) You could also put a light powder on your face to seal the make-up in place or you could put on a primer before your make-up which will also help keep it in place for longer. If your skin is greasy a powder will help soak up the excess moisture :D and I also got these blotting pad things ( i think thats what they were called) and you can use them throughout the day to wipe your face making it not as greasy.

    I hope this helps :D
    Try using:

Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil-Eliminating Foaming Cleanser.

You can get it at Walmart.

Wash your face with this every night and in the morning before you put your make up on. It really helps keep your skin clean and oil-free.

Also after you put on your foundation use a foundation powder to set the foundation. it will also make your skin not look oily.

If you find that your makeup starts to look oily during the day, or is starting to come off, go to the bathroom and get some toilet paper or grab tissue.

Lightly dab your face (don't rub or smear) and soak up the exess oil.

Hope I helped good luck! =)

How hard is it for you to face up to the mistakes you make?
I'm very honest, including with myself, and so I don't have illusions about myself, and consequently don't have a problem facing my mistakes. How long it takes to recognize my mistakes and learn from them depends on the mistake and circumstances. The older I get, to less time it takes to realize the mistake.

    I don't have ';a mental bad experience file.'; I feel that that would be avoidance and unhealthy. I don't allow myself to obsess over them or think about them continually. If the thought comes up, I tell myself, ';That's over; it's in the past. I've learned from it. Now think about something else.';
No one wants to admit when they are wrong, nor do they want to have the knowledge that they did something wrong. I suppose the consequences of a mistake my have a direct affect on ones ability to own up to it. I bet George Bush is struggling with a catastrophic amount of this right now. We must learn from our mistakes, or they remain mistakes with no positive outcome.
I guess I've learned with age and maturity. Several years ago I decided I needed to be completely honest with myself and everyone else. Since then I have no trouble facing my mistakes...they are just that-mistakes. I didn't intend to make a mistake so why should I worry about it. I try to make things right if possible, give an apology if necessary and if not I put it away and it is over. I don't live my life with regrets. At the end of the day I can lay down and say ';well done'; and sleep well.
It takes me a long time to get over mistakes. I have no problem facing and admitting when I'm wrong- just hard to forgive self. I tend to be to trusting and forgiving of others- so no I often do not learn from my mistakes. I am so much easier on others than self.
I get over them immediately as i know there's probably a helluva lot more coming. It's just another bump in the road with others ahead. I'm not using the road less traveled,i'm traveling the aggressive and daring 'autobahn'.

    FACE MAKE UP HELP!!!?

I wear M.A.C make up and my color is NC 35, but i am having a problem. I apply the fast response eye cream, then the face primer, and only in my dry spots the studio fix.

Then the concealer and foundation in the morning, and by noon it seems that the concealer and foundation under my eyes is almost gone, revealing my dark circles.

I guess im trying to say is, how do i make the make up last all day.

Is there a proper way to apply it? What can i do for the proper coverage?FACE MAKE UP HELP!!!?
I've heard that applying concealers on top of your foundation and powder allows your makeup to stay on longer, but I would suggest either using a sealant like She-Laq by Benefit, or carrying around a powder for touch-ups. No makeup can last all day with exposure to the elements, especially in the summer.

If your issue is just the concealer portion fading away, maybe apply she-laq to your concealer, then apply foundation.

    Good luck!

I need a make up face and Eye remover?

I am own a strict facial routine with my dermatologist and he only lets me use purpose facial cleanser. But I wear make up everyday and when I wash my face it just doesn't seem to get rid of the foundation and etc......any advice. Female2 7y/oI need a make up face and Eye remover?
I use Clean and Clear makeup removing foaming face wash. My skin is not the best, but this seems to not irritate it. I also have eye make up removing cream from avon, when wearing heavy eye make-up..I will use that, and then use my clean and clear..normally only have to wash once and I'm good!I need a make up face and Eye remover?
Use cetaphil. Its a facewash/cleanser/moisturiser and gets rid of foundation, blush, eyeliner, mascara etc. :) love it, and its quite cheap. You buy it from your pharmacy

    xx
There are alot of brands that are the same...

Ask at your local chemist for a make-up remover with aloe-vera and no harsh chemicals.

I use Bloom eye make up remover buds and face make-up remover wipes.
i use neutrogena oil free eye make-up remover, and it works like magic!!!! just remember to shake it before each use, cuz it separates a little!!!!
I use Clean and Clear foaming facial cleanser, around $5 a bottle. Gets off foundation as well as eye makeup, without burning at all. Cleans your skin at the same time.
Check out my brand - aularale.com/7002 for people w/sensitive skin and it's recommended by dermatologists.
Use Nivea Visage Makeup remover... Get the waterproof one.
TRY USING OIL OF OLAY SOAP!!

  • I want to stop wearing make up, but my face always seems to be irratated & red, is there a way I can sooth it?

What products or remedies can I try to make it less irritated, so I can wear less?I want to stop wearing make up, but my face always seems to be irratated %26amp; red, is there a way I can sooth it?
put two aspirins (not coated) in a small amount of hot water.

and after the aspirins are dissolves in the water wear it as a face mask for about 5 minutes. this reduces redness

You can also use a small amount of sea salt instead or with the aspirinI want to stop wearing make up, but my face always seems to be irratated %26amp; red, is there a way I can sooth it?
use acne cream i use umm crap its sumthin and clear try it
Try a moisturizer with green tea. It's really good for calming the skin. You can also try a tinted moisturizer to ease into the process of not wearing makeup. That's what I did-and I rarely wear foundation or concealer. Mostly on special occasions.

Do you letting your boyfriend to kiss or touch your face with foundation or make up?

I am wondering to the truth of girls make up and the possibilities of the guy will spoilt the great complexion of foundation after kissing, touching when have fun outing.Do you letting your boyfriend to kiss or touch your face with foundation or make up?
When I first met my fiance, I was so conscious of the fact that I didn't want my make up ruined because I thought I looked really ugly unless my make-up was perfect. I avoided cuddles unless my face wasn't covered by him at all and avoided kissing too. He started thinking that my problem was with him! If he did kiss me I would go to the bathroom right away to correct my make-up. One day I was sitting at a desk when we came along and came me a hug (so my head was level with his tummy) and when afterwards I was mortified - there was a faint mask like shape on his shirt! He didn't notice but I was so embarrassed!

I guessed my insecurities changed over time. I remember one day he came in and I had very little make-up on and he couldn't believe how naturally pretty I was. The more he told me how gorgeous I was I guess I started to believe it a little and started to wear make-up to accentuate my features instead of hiding them. Now, if we play-fight or kiss or whatever, I never even think of my make-up but admittedly do touch it up eventually , but only when I can be bothered! I have so many compliments about how I look now, so I guess less is more. And I guess love does change everything too! x x xDo you letting your boyfriend to kiss or touch your face with foundation or make up?
once i was wearing really glossy lip gloss and my ex and i kissed kissed and he got it all over his lips and he was sparkly all day! lol but i dont mind it but the only makeup i wear is lipgloss and sometimes bronzer on cheek bones but i never really used to wear any when we were going out so i dont think i would mind if i had one now as long as he doesnt mind..
I've never had a problem with that. I mean, worst case scenario, I'll just have to excuse myself to the bathroom to powder myself up again.
if he does not care, i don't care.

well, i don't wear a lot of make up myself.

But both of us do NOT like lipstick when kissing
My boyfriend has seen me with out makeup. It doesn't bug me at all. It's just makeup. I end up washing it off a few hours later anyway.
I wear Colorstay foundation... which holds up to a lot. So I have no problem with it whatsoever.
    Yes!
    what? no!

with all the time and effort I put into it?

well then again it's my husband....*thinks*...that's another story though

Does it make my face screw up when i will use two soaps in every bath ? I mean, gonna use moisturizer soap then after i`ll apply another whitening soap, does this thing might screw my face ?Does it make my face screw up when i will use two soaps in every bath ?
you only need one. DOVE . it keeps your face nice, clean, and soft . but the regular white one or the exfoliating one is the best. not the ones with colors or scents.

Is there a way to apply make up so my face looks slimmer in a pony tail?

im asian and i have bad face features,i have small eyes,round/square-ish face, small nose so it looks flat when someones looking from a side, and chubby looking cheaks.so my face looks even weirder when up in a pony tail...i have this hair style in mind but i will look weird with my face like this.so is there any way to make my cheakbones look stronger and my forehead smaller?...and my eyes look bigger? Is there a way to apply make up so my face looks slimmer in a pony tail?
To widen your eyes a little, you want to line them heavily- but only on the top lid. You can elongate the line out to the side a bit, this looks exotic. Use a darker color at the outer corner of your eye, and a lighter color at the inner corner, and you may want to use a lighter still shimmery color up to your brow.

For your cheeks, I'd go with a deep neutral, and you should start applying it at the back of your face, and pull it forward towards your nose- but don't get too close! Don't apply it to the ';apples of your cheeks'; or a round faced person will look like santa claus.

Having a fairly broad face myself, I'd suggest that if you pull your hair back, let a few wisps escape to frame your face a little. This will make your style look less severe, and will minimize the roundness. Is there a way to apply make up so my face looks slimmer in a pony tail?
Use blusher on your cheeks/ or cheek bone if visible

you can add more khol to your eyes to make them stand out, so whenyour hair is in apony tail, atleast peoples eyes will attract to the eyes, not the roundness!

i am asian too, but i have a heart shape face.

hope this helps, if not mabad!

    -T- Ezz
Draw people's attention to a specific part of your face, like eyes and cheeks. Really emphasize your cheekbones with a pinkish blush and use white eyeshadow right under your eyebrow and at the corners of your eyes to highlight your eyes and make them appear bigger. Merry Christmas! :)
You will want to wear blush in the hollows of your cheeks. Suck in, see the hollow space, swipe your blush along there. Do not go with a too bright blush, and blend very well, otherwise you'll get that scary eighties look.

To make your eyes look bigger always use a lash curler. White eye liner also makes eyes pop, darker colors make eyes look smaller.

A nice trick I saw on the Tyra banks show is too take your brown eye shadow and run it down from the corner of your eye just along the side of the nose a little. Again not to dark, and everything should be blended. If you see make up lines, it is either to dark, or not blended enough.

How can I make my face stop sweating so I can wear make-up? Kinda gross, I know.?

Every summer when ever I wear foundation or compact I sweat and then it looks all splotchy. Is there anything I can do to make my face stop sweating? Or some kind of special foundation I can wear? How can I make my face stop sweating so I can wear make-up? Kinda gross, I know.?
If you're older and you're serious about a solution, Botox can help. I was watching a show about a bride that sweats a lot and she was doing a test run for her makeup and it was literally sliding off her face because she sweats so much. The makeup artist suggested Botox in the spots that she sweats a lot because it cuts off communication to the gland. She went to the dermatologist for more information and the doctor said that it is a common solution so she got it done, and she said it worked like magic. How can I make my face stop sweating so I can wear make-up? Kinda gross, I know.?
I had to stop wearing my foundation this year because of that same reason- early menopause! Bear Minerals says that it doesn't come off in water maybe call them and talk. Otherwise go to the department store cosmetic counter and talk to the consultants about the problem and see what they have to say. If you don't wipe the sweat it does help but I do know how the lines of sweat make the make-up run off your face. If you find something let me know good luck.
This may sound kind of gross but I've found the best way is to use antiperspirant. One of the best antiperspirants out there is CertainDri, which you can find at drugstores. It's a clear, unscented liquid in a roll-on bottle.

Just dab some on your face the night before and it will really help with the sweating problem. I've even read that acne sufferers use it to alleviate their skin problems!
You are probably a very good looking woman -- all the face clown make up is not necesary. Summer is here and the less make up the better off things are...
Mel no sweating is dieing! check with the beauty counter for the water proof lines but sweat is your bodys cooling process and staying in a/c all day is the only safe answer not healthy though!
I don't know if this will help.. but if you carry tissue around with you, just slightly dab your face when it starts to feel sweaty.. and re-apply some powder to keep your face looking matt.
ah this is happening to me too its horrible!help!

  • Best face make up brushes ?

What, and who make the best makeup brushes ? Esp foundation brushes. I've heard MAC are good. I use one already but i think i can find better. Also anyone got any tips for a flawless application ? Thanks xxBest face make up brushes ?
there are a few brushes every woman should have: concealer, powder, blush, flat shadow, and eye crease/contour. these are essential to a basic face, and some can double usage.

if price is an issue, try palladio brushes from sally beauty supply. they are $7-17 each, and last forever. i have a flat shadow brush from this line that has never lost a bristle.

for a starter set, check out mac. they have their mini brushes in sets for the holidays, so you get 4-5 for $30-35. mark by avon also has a mini set they sell all year long that is $19 for concealer, lip, eyeliner, shadow, and blush. and merle norman stores have full-size sets out of 5 of their most popular brushes and a brush cleaner for $29.

stila at sephora has nice brushes. some of them are dual-ended, so you get more for your money. they have a nice eye duo brush for $30, with a dense contour and smudger.

for foundation brushes, i actually have one from avon that has done well for years now. lancome has a great one, but it is pricey.

for flawless foundation, make sure to start with a primer. smashbox photofinish wins awards all of the time from beauty magazines and websites, and it really lives up to the hype. goes on easily, wears all day, and never broke me out. $32 at sephora. my second fave is tarte clean slate, $27 at sephora.Best face make up brushes ?
You can find better than Mac brushes but you will pay for the privelge with possibly little return for your investment.

Laura Mercier brushes are great but very expensive.

Mac are good too. I use their brush cleaner every month and they have a really good variety for any purpose. Plus if you can catch someone (shops are often a bit frantic) they give great advice about applying make up.

The Body Shop are ethical and at the cheaper end of things.

Whatever if you start investing in brushes and have a range of them at your disposal you cannot go wrong.
I prefer Bare Minerals for both brushes and makeup. They have a kickin travel brush, I use it every day. The Kabuki brush is great for the mineral veil. Flawless application, take your time, alway go up and out, use a large brush to go over it at the finish to blend any areas that you didn't get well, and use good lighting.
Bobbie Brown or Sephora house brand. Both excellent.

For a flawless finish, use a primer.
    i would say sephora !!!
My favorite foundation brush is from Chanel. I have had it for about 2 years and wash it with philosophy facial cleanser after every use. It is still in great shape and well worth the money. I usually wear Smashbox primer under my makeup - and it really helps me to achieve that flawless finish.

I'm 16 and i don't know how to make my face look natural in using make up. What should i do?

I have a wedding to attend 1 hour later. We only have dark-colored lipsticks (one is not which is pink), a brown lipliner, eyeliners (black and brown), light brown, green, bronze-like, pink, dark brown, brown, black, and white for eyeshadow, foundation, blush-on, face powder, and a moisturizer. I will wear black later.I'm 16 and i don't know how to make my face look natural in using make up. What should i do?
Apply moisturizer first and let it dry. Apply foundation. Apply brown eyeliner to your eyes, upper and lower. Start by applying a brown eye shadow. At the outer end of your eye, sweep it in a minimal upward motion so that it makes them look more open. Apply a lighter brown in the middle of the the eye. Apply blush, a pink wine color if it is available. Apply lipstick, don't use a liner. It is always best to remember if you use a dark lipstick, apply a light eyeshadow. And vice versa. Good luck!!!I'm 16 and i don't know how to make my face look natural in using make up. What should i do?
Can you get some help from some of the other bridesmaides?

Make sure the foundation matches your skin color apply moisturizer first, then foundation and powder. I would use the brown eyeliner with lightbrown and dark brown eyeshadow. Use the light brown eyeshadow over more of your eye lid with the dark brown as an accent. Use the bronzelike blush carefully on your cheek bones starting at the hairline and working towards the nose, but stop approximately two fingers from the nose. use the brown lipliner softly, chose the lightest lipstick you can find use it very lightly you might try applying it only to the lower lip and then rubbing your lips together. Blot with a tissue if needed. For evening you can always darken your shades.

Here is a great wedding look

The less makeup you use the better. Stay away from the brown lipliner. Use a little foundation on your t-zones and blend. Then sweep the face with a little powder to control the shine. Add a little blush to the apples of the cheeks and sweep over the t-zones. The T zones are the forehead, top of the nose, chin and cheeks. Finish with mascara.

What is the best face wash to remove make up (sensitive skin)?

I am a 20 year old female with very dry, sensitive skin and I'm prone to breaking out with a product that is too harsh. What is the best face cleanser to take off my face make up?What is the best face wash to remove make up (sensitive skin)?
1.Use a gentle, slightly diluted cream on a ball of cotton wool to clean up the entire face. This will take care of the foundation and powder.

2.Remove the lipstick next. Once the overall clean up has been done, begin on the lipstick. Usually, Vaseline will get off the toughest waterproof lipstick. Rub some on your lips and wipe off with a tissue.

    3.

Remove from eyesContinue with the eyes. These are gentle areas and Clinique eye makeup remover would be the best solution. These are all just preliminaries to get off the separate areas of makeup.

4.Take off all the lotions and makeup removers that you have just used. Use a gentle foaming soap to wash your face and unclog the pores.

5.Pat your face dry and put on a light night lotion to combat skin dryness that can occur from the rigorous removal of the makeup and all the chemicals used on the skin.

    Tips;

鈥f you don't have eye makeup remover, baby oil on a cotton ball works really well (just make sure to rinse the oil off afterwards to prevent break-outs)

鈥lways use a noncomedogenic moisturizer. They don't clog pores.

鈥ou may also use the HydraMitt which is a microfiber mitt that removes makeup in seconds by using warm water only. It's also very gentle on your eyes and will not scratch your skin like your typical microfiber cloth. What is the best face wash to remove make up (sensitive skin)?
For everyone, it can be different things/products. I have SUPER sensitive skin and nutrogena facial soap bars work soooo well for me, both getting all the make-up off my face and helping my skin have a clear complection. After I use that I also usually put on some of nutrogena's sensitive skin moisturizer (purple bottle shade).

I have the same conditions as you do, and this stuff works perfectly!
Any face wash is going to strip away natural oils which actually causes skin to produce more oil which clogs pores so causing break-outs and will also dry your skin further, not to mention that most washes will contain chemicals that aren't exactly friendly to skin at the best of times, let alone what it'd do to sensitive skin.

Instead try cleansing with Oil Cleansing Method (OCM) which maintains natural oils keeping skin healthy so prevents acne and keeps skin hydrated. For OCM mix half extra virgin olive oil to moisturize and half castor oil to cleanse, also try adding a little tea tree oil which is antibacterial. Massage into your face then put a hot face cloth over your face for a minute to open pores, then wipe off oil, any trace amounts are absorbed into skin so won't be greasy. http://www.moogoo.com.au/category13_1.ht鈥?/a>
you really just need to try out a bunch of different things. for example, proactive is really common but doesnt work for me. dermalogica is extremely pricy and high quality but makes me break out worse. neutrogena actually worked better for me than dermalogica did, but dermalogica has worked wonders for my brother. i've found i like murad, but everyones skin is different so i highly suggest trying out multiple soaps.
I have excema, and I use dial soap. Its fine for my skin, and everything comes off nicely... I use lotion to remove eye makeup (I use St Ive's sensitive skin)
Try Cetaphil, you can find it at walmart (if you have a walmart where you are at). My wife uses it and has good luck with it.
    Noxzema
    vasaline removes eye makeup nicely.

How can you make your face flawless without make up?

Self massage with essential oils works wonders. I like olive, almond and grape seed - they are suitable for every skin type as they do not clog, cause breakouts and they help diminish skin's oil production. They nourish and feed skin many beneficial and health promoting nutrients. which help ward off skin aging and wrinkling. It's best to massage on a daily basis quite thoroughly for best and quickest results. I found a forward and back motion using finger tips and front and sides of fingers, depending where on face you massage, is best (a circular one will be less effective).

It got rid of my countless severe skin conditions, It permanently rid face of ALL my blemishes, smoothed and softened it and gave me a healthy, rejuvenated and glowing skin. i don't wear make up. just black eyebrow lashes and black eyebrow pencil on the eyelids. lipgross. I know it is part of make up. do you wear makeup to impress someone or yourself? Why can women be true about her beauty instead wear all that thick make up on their face?
Why do you wear makeup? You sound like a hypocrite. Why can't you just let people be. You look a bit overweight in that picture. Maybe you should worry about losing some weight. ...just my opinion.

Edited to add: I see you changed your picture. LMAO. And as for Candygurl, I bet you're the poster under another alias. I say it as it is. Why come on a makeup forum asking why women can't be true to themselves and in the same sentence say how you wear makeup? Get a life. That does reek of hypocrite to me.Why can women be true about her beauty instead wear all that thick make up on their face?
I wear make up because I like to feel good about myself, I like the way it looks. Like most of the others that have replied, it's about feeling good about myself for me, not for other people. I wouldn't wear it the way I do if it were for others.
i dont wear much. i only wear mascara, foundation, and light (very light!) eyeliner sometimes. i do use it for my self confidence, and cuz i guess its nice for guys to notice you.
because some women aren't self confident. or if not thats just there custom or how they were brought up

    i just dont know

i answered this cause i was bored ;)
i wear make-up to enhance my natrual features

i wear eyeliner and eyeshadow a lil brown and some shine/sparkels in a natrual colors

then i wear minelals on my face and the skin clearing co ver-up if neccasary

    i wear lipgloss 2
i wear makeup to make my eyes look prettier

i've a don't wear mascara or eyeliner because my eyes are dark it makes me look ill if i don't put it on !

... also i just wear lipgloss to make my lips smoother
i wear make up, but not to impress anyone

it helps hide things im insecure about, makes me feel abit better about myself
I'm impressed with your spelling and grammar. Lipgross?

I wear eyeliner and mascara to enhance my eyes. I wear blush because my face is pale and I like to see a little color in it. I wear lip GLOSS or lipstick because my lips are also pale and they look so much better with some color.

Everything I do, I do it because I like to look good.....for me.
I like to wear natural looking makeup because I think I look better with it. However, I am not embarassed by the way I look without it. I just like to even out my complexion and enhance my natural beauty. I also have very pale skin and look kind of dead without blush. I do agree that some women go to far and wear waaaay too much. That is usually some underlying self-esteem issue.

For most women though, just want to improve themselves a little. If we all had perfect glowing skin, thick lashes and pink lips, we would probably wear makeup a lot less.
    I wear makeup for myself.

I don't wear makeup to be ';pretty';, I wear it to look like art. Not everyone cares if you judge their natural beauty, and some love their faces enough to experiment with it and still feel comfortable.

How can I make my face clear up?

I want my face to be clear before the first day of school, which is this Tuesday, and is there any way to do that without going out and buying stuff? How can I make my face clear up?
    Aspirin mask!

Try taking non-coated aspirin (you can get 100 for, like, $1 at the drug store) and putting a few in a little dish, adding a little bit of water (like, 10 drops), and a TINY bit of honey and let the aspirin get soft and make it into a paste. Put it on your face and let it dry, then wash it off with warm water...How can I make my face clear up?
Use this I promise you it work in the morning while you getting ready:

http://www.outletnutrition.com/079896586鈥?/a> your skin will glow and look nice and fresh people will take notice

but use this on a daily base the wave by netrogena, that been working for me lately

but the first one really works just leave it on their 15 minutes.

I would drink a lot of water and watch what I eat. Eat fresh fruits and veggies. You can try some home products if you can't get to the store like toothpaste and distilled vinegar or lemon juice as a toner. Maloox works good as a face mask.
Well you have to wash your face, if you feel like you are not comfy with your soap don't use it. Don't let your skin to be oily and sleep at the right time. Like 8 hours. or just sleep early.

    hope it helps.bye!
try not to touch your face a lot

wash your face a lot and toothpastete works on spots
toothpaste on pimples and zitz and wash face twice a day

What's the best way to apply make-up so it looks natural and makes your face glow?

I wanna know what color eye shadows, lip-gloss etc..

Thanks in advance :)What's the best way to apply make-up so it looks natural and makes your face glow?
I agree, %26amp; using natural colors, helps too, which is really hot right now.

the tanish , off white neutral tones are pretty, on both eyes %26amp; lips. Always coordinate your colors.

Like dont use a rust color on your lips %26amp; a blue on your eyes.

plus, less is better.......What's the best way to apply make-up so it looks natural and makes your face glow?
get a large brush OR an angled one and apply with a little bit of product at a time for any kind of makeup.

eyes-do an all-over motion on lids. put a darker color in the crease and a lighter color on on the brow bone.

~COLORS: blue eyes look great in blue, brown and other cool colors (green, purple, etc.) green eyes are like blue but they look good in black too. gray eyes look great in everything lucky girl! brown eyes look great in all warm colors and black. hazel/other eyes look good in metallic colors, brown and black~

lips-use a brush or the applicator wand and do all over the bottom lip then rub. fix the ';dip'; on the top lips if necessary. personally i don't like lipliner but that's a personal preference.

~COLORS: just one rule: the darker the skin tone, the darker the color can be. pale pale girls like moi can't wear cherry red lipgloss/stick because we look like porcealin dolls. but black (no offense) women shouldn't wear pale pale pinks because it looks rather odd. just stay simplle and try to look as ';naked'; as possible~

cheeks-use a large brush and put it all over the apples of your cheeks. don't go too much with hot hot pink or hott hott red. just go pales and naturals.

for things like dances or parties i like to wear glitter powder. use a blush brush and rub into collarbones and on arms (if showing) and if your wearing a skirt with no tights go ahead and put it on your legs too.

REMEMBER. the more without makeup you look the more beautiful you will be! LESS IS MORE.
well it all depends on your skin tone, but i would go with a light foundation and soft eyshadows, like light pinks greens or blues
There isnt much of a technique, but one thing is, make sure you cleanse before you put ANY makeup on. %26amp; also, remember to tone %26amp; moisturize. with those procedures, your makeup will go on more smoothly, %26amp; less lumps and bumps will appear.
the best foundation would be a spray makeup or a mineral like bare and minerals. and the best eye makeup would be a deep blue liner w/ brown shadow. the blue will make your brown eyes pop! and for lips use a peach gloss. it will go the best with your skin tone and the shadow. and for the blush use a peach colored blush. it will bring together the hole look!

    Hope I Helped!!♥♥
a little bit of benefit's High Beam does wonders :)
Put it on lightly.. and get the right tones, and colors.

    Lip gloss..

fair skin - very light pinks

    medium- dark pink/ some reds

and dark skin- dark purpley colors and dark pinks

dont use to bright of a color with light skin you'll look like a clown

    and for eye shadow

greens and browns bring out blue eyes

grays and light colors bring out green

and depending on the shade of brown usually blues, light colors, and whites bring out brown eyes

    hope this helped!
well if use light pink lip gloss settle colors lik light blue or purple or pink eyeshadow and a little blush but for a mineral powder cover use cover grl it is soo amazing but make sure to get our color of skin rigeht
Gold eye shadows, maybe? Try face brightening primers such as Benefit ';That Gal'; Face Brightening Primer, and a light shimmery gloss.
if you have lighter skin, then light pinks and soft rosy colors

tan skin- peachy sun kissd golden tones

    dark skin- berry tones

with all skin tones use highlightering powder to give your face a pretty glow =D

    hope i helped!

Why is it important to clean eye make up off your face daily?

It is important to clean eye make-up off your face daily because, you can end up with Stye's and also Systs. I had a Stye before on both eyes, and they are sooo annoying, they are like little spots and they get bigger and bigger gradually, and they take ages to go, they either pop themselves, or just go down. Mine went down, ( i had these a year ago) and i can still feel a little lump in my eye where it hasnt completely gone. I will probably have them in my eyes forever now. All becuase i didnt take my eye make-up off regularly. . If you do get a Stye or a Syst.. sometimes you have to have them cut out of your eye. So i would definately recommend taking your make-up off every night before you go to bed. It doesnt take that long.. Hope this helped. Why is it important to clean eye make up off your face daily?
If you don't your make up will get all over your pillow when you sleep and your eyeliner will run. It's also bad for your skin. Why is it important to clean eye make up off your face daily?
If you leave eye makeup on and around your eyes, your skin will get less oxygen and that causes wrinkles early on. You'll get crows feet! Also, if you don't take off your eye makeup all the way it makes it pretty hard to apply it again the next day.

Same with foundation. Even wearing foundation causes premature wrinkles. So at least make sure you wash it off every night.
It clogs your pores and makes the skin sensitive and eventually it will get irritated and you will have to stop wearing it for like a week until it heals. I speak from experience.
Otherwise it will make you have spots! This is a professionals way to take of makeup:

Removing the makeup in the evening is a must in order to let your skin breathe and regenerate during the whole night. Understandably, late night tiredness causes many women to fall asleep without removing the makeup, but that can be very damaging to the skin. Leaving makeup on your skin during the night clog your pores and breakout may occur more frequently. When makeup is impacted in the pores, it can make them look larger and after a few days blackheads and pimples may appear.

Before you begin removing the makeup you will need:

    Eye makeup remover

    Facial cleanser

    Cleansing milk

    A towel

    Cotton pads

    Tonic

    Moisturizer

    Step One

Start by removing your eye makeup.

Removing mascara can be very difficult, especially if it is waterproof. To remove mascara and eye shadows you will need an eye makeup remover. Moisten a cotton pad with a little bit of the remover and gently wipe each eye. Close your eyes and carefully rub downwards on the lashes. Repeat this a few times until all traces of mascara are off. Never stretch the delicate skin around the eyes. Use another cotton pad if you have to and remove the eye shadows. In place of eye makeup remover you can use baby oil, wet wipes but never use regular makeup remover on your eyes.

    Step Two

For the rest of your face use a cleanser, but never a soap unless it is specially designed for the face. Wet your face and apply facial cleanser. Gently rub into the face and don鈥檛 forget your neck. Concentrate on areas where you had makeup on 鈥?mouth, nose, cheekbones. Allow the cleanser to penetrate the skin for two/ three minutes.

    Step Three

Rinse your face with lukewarm water to remove the cleanser and dry your skin with a towel. Rinse a number of times to remove all traces of both cosmetic and cleanser residue.

    Step Four

    Tone your skin

Use oil-free astringents appropriate for your skin type. Use it lavishly 鈥?apply with cotton pad and wipe until clean. The toners are one of the most important part of your daily regimen. They remove the traces of makeup, dirt and oil that your cleanser may have missed. The toners also reduce pores, eliminate oil and refine the skin.

    Step Five

    Moisturize your skin

Don鈥檛 forget to moisturize your skin after you have removed the makeup.

Other alternatives to remove the makeup:

Cleansing wipes - Besides being comfortable and always being on hand, you can use them during the day 鈥?to remove the lipstick from the lips, or the greasy eyeshadows.

Olive oil 鈥?it can be used to remove the makeup even the eye makeup

Baby oil 鈥?it removes all kinds of makeup and is especially good of removing the mascara. It鈥檚 appropriate for those with hyper-sensitive skin.

    Tips:

Avoid washing off eye makeup with facial cleanser 鈥?it can irritate your eyes

Don鈥檛 use eye makeup remover to remove face makeup

Makeup should be removed from every where it was applied to

    Always apply moisturizer

Never go to bed without removing the makeup 鈥?it only takes a few minutes

Cleansing the face should also include the neck and behind ears area

Use soft motions to remove the makeup

    Never stretch your skin

If you can鈥檛 remove the makeup, repeat it a number of times

    Choose oil-free products

    This might Help! xx
not cleasning properly can create more problems. you can develope acne and blackheads.
It will clog your pores and cause either pimples or dry skin or itchy/sensitive skin. It could also get into your eye if your pillow rubs your eye when you're sleeping (or you subconsciously rub your eyes with your hands) and could cause an infection. Nastyyy.

Apparently, in rare cases, you can even partially clog your tear ducts (where tears are made).

How does your face feel with face primer on with make up vs. without primer with only makeup?

Does your face feel any different with primer on under your make up than without ? How so ?How does your face feel with face primer on with make up vs. without primer with only makeup?
primer makes such an incredible difference! Your makeup lasts longer, your face does't get as oily and your skin will feel smoother. Aren't those great reasons to use primer??? I use MAC with the spf 50 because I am a freak about sun protection. I love it!How does your face feel with face primer on with make up vs. without primer with only makeup?
Yes! i agree with the first answer! I just started using it and i lOVE It. It makes my makeup go on a lot smoother.. Primer helps keep makeup on a lot longer so when im at school, i dont do touch ups on my foundation, only on my eyeliner. It has helped me tons!
primer is great. Laura Mercier makes the best. It makes you make up stay on all day, you don't get as shiny and it's better for you skin.

What make up can make my round face look less roun?

i have a slightly big round face, do u guys have any tips of how i can make it look more skinnier? What make up can make my round face look less roun?
Don't try to make it look less round!! I love that kind of face!! It is youthful and SEXY. A skinny face is UGLY. My face is a little thin and I would do anything to have that round, youthful, healthy, sexy face!! Men love it!!!! You are insane to want to change it at all. I'm serious. What make up can make my round face look less roun?

the art of shading. go to your local cosmetic counter at one of the larger department stores and set up an appointment for some how to's. once you master that, work on a possible new hair style if you dont like the one you have. those two things can change everything.
Blush and light foundation and pink lipgloss or eyeliner and do not use that much Mascara makes ur fac luk round
Well in order to change your face look you first need the CORRECT HAIRCUT before you go to make ups.
Don't try to change that, enhance it.

Light pink blushes and lipstick with dark eyeliner!!!

    Hair delicately flowing around it.

    w00tness!
I'm not sure about makeup, but if you grow ur hair out longer, it will make ur face look a LOT skinnier, trust me. I have a round face, too and when I grew my hair out then it looked a lot skinnier. Try wearing it down or in low behind-the-ear pigtails to make it look longer. Worked for me, girli-o!!!
Blush if done properly, look up picks of this, but keep it very subtle and only a shade darker then your skin.

You could also try a hair cut, hair can change your look instantaniously. The best way to find one for you is to look around places and see what looks best on you, not what you like best!

  • Can I use reg. face make-up as Stage Make-up?

I have this play in school but i don't have stage make-up and I need something fast what stuff should i use should .Should i use oil or something like that and I have dark skin = ) thanxCan I use reg. face make-up as Stage Make-up?
yeah probably.... it doesnt really matterCan I use reg. face make-up as Stage Make-up?
no stage makeup is a lot brighter the colors are more saturated and its a lot thicker so the audience can actually see it. the best way to get this affect with regular makeup is to dip the application brush in water before the makeup so it goes on a lot darker
use regular make up just use more than usual! And what the heck would you use oil for? dont put oil on your skin that would be a baddd idea!! just get drugstore makeup and use that heavily.
Ask the stage director, wardrobe coordinator or your colleagues for recommendations! And practice with product prior to the show to create the right application %26amp; have makeup remover wipes to help clean up.

It also depends on the look you need for the character but like everyone else has mentioned, a heavier application of color is needed %26amp; using a wet brush to apply eye makeup will make it bolder. Avoid light pastels since you have darker skin %26amp; use more jewel tones like garnet red, amethyst purple, deep golds %26amp; royal blues with some shimmer if applicable to your character.

Do not use oil based foundation, darker skin tends to be oily %26amp; it may not stay on. Try the new HD foundations with silicone for longevity.

it's a harlequin, or a french representation of the sad clown, similar to the classic theater masques. in the first movie it was a small porcelain keepsake on the mirror of his fiance's dressing table. The Crow Movie...Why is his face make-up done similar to The Riddlers? Why do the lines extend on the mouth %26amp;?
I remember the first film some 20 or so years ago. Thought is was awesome and so cool!

I rented the DVD of it and couldn't stand the film.

The acting really is not as good as I remember and the editing isn't that great.

When I was a teen it was a perfect 10 to me.

Now that I am 30 something..

    It is a 3 star.

Funny, how you age, your taste matures as well.
You have to watch the first film. He is copying a doll, I believe, that meant something to him. It just happens to look similar to the Joker or The Riddler. Of course, remember that when The Crow was written and created, The Riddler never wore makeup, just a green mask. So, the new Riddler makeup looks like The Crow, not the other way around.

Whats the best natural looking make up to cover blemishes and make your face look great?

price doesn't matter. Uhmm if they don't clog pores then thats a plus too :)Whats the best natural looking make up to cover blemishes and make your face look great?
Bare Minerals works for me and I have oily skin. It doesn't clog my pores either. It is gentle enough to sleep in, if I don't get it washed off like I should. They have a cover up called Bisque that I apply with a small brush, to those special areas, it works wonders. It lasts for a long time because it doesn't take a lot to use. Give it a try. I wish it was available when I was younger. Good luck!Whats the best natural looking make up to cover blemishes and make your face look great?
bare essentials is awesome, i don't use a separate concealer, i just use their concealer brush and spot cover things like blemishes, or broken capilaries, and then the larger brush for the rest of my face, it's great coverage
dream matte mouse, its a cream so it covers well, but it turns into a powder as it sets, so it wont clog pores, you just have to blend it well to make sure its even and its only like 8 dollars

Any High-Quality, Pure White Face Make-up?

My friend and I want to do a geisha look for a photo shoot. Can you recommend a high-quality (no petroleum or mineral oil as ingredients), pure-white face make-up? Something by a prestigious brand (Chanel, Shiseido, etcetera) would be preferred, but all will be considered. Thank you!Any High-Quality, Pure White Face Make-up?
Ben Nye actually makes a foundation color called Geisha. But really try any stage make up brands. They go on light with a thick look. But be sure to use water. Too little water will look streaky and too much causes the makeup to runs off (for obvious reasons).

I put some on this morning and its almost noon and i have not seen a shine spot yet!!
    Hm.. That sounds weird.

    Well let's try a new way =)

First, make sure you moisturize your skin with SPF.

Then go ahead and apply your Concealer.

My Favorite Concealer is M路A路C Select Moisturecover.

Now it's time to apply your Foundation.

My Favorite Foundation is MAC Mineralized Loose Foundation with SPF15.

It's a Mineral Foundation so it's going to absorbs your oils on your skin since you have Oily Skin.

Then for the Final Touch, Spray some MAC FIX+ to set all your makeup.

    GOOD LUCK! =)
there's a face wash that im using im not sure if they have liquids but its for oily skin and i've bee using it for like 3 weeks and it is awesome! it heals acne and helps oily skin.
try holding off on the foundation and just putting on moisturizer and powdering frequently for the oily skin.
You are probably wearing something that has bismuth oxychloride in it like Bare Minerals or something similar. I use the foundations from Bee Luscious they keep all that bad stuff out of their makeup.
use ambi... facial wash for oily skin before you apply your make-up .. i also use foundation...... and it helped me!... you can find ambi in any drug store... (cvs,,walmart, target, etc.)

What is the FASTEST way to remove stage make-up (water based face paint like)?

I will be playing the cowardly lion in yhe Wizard of Oz in a few weeks, and I have to go from lion to human in like 10 seconds. I will have to change my costume and remove all me make-up as will the scarecrow and tin man. I need a SUPER FAST way to remove make-up!!!What is the FASTEST way to remove stage make-up (water based face paint like)?
Makeup removing wipes would probably be the best. What is the FASTEST way to remove stage make-up (water based face paint like)?
Baby oil or olive oil, wipe it by dabbing some of one of those two onto a cotton and then wipe those part that you wish to clean...its cheap, fast and convenient!
Make up removing wipes are good. It might take longer than 10 seconds though LOL. Maybe 20. LOL. But I use MAC wipes and they remove everything with just one pass even waterproof mascara.
Baby oil ... then something strong to get that off .. like Noxzema
    Facial wipes.
vaseline!! it works amazing! make sure you have a lot of paper towels.
I mean it's not hard, it's just use paper towels and what you use to take off your own normal make up.

Trust me I am in different plays too.
Baby oil, and then baby wipes. We use it to take off clown paint.

What make up would i need to hide acne and make my face look flawless and natural?

Bee Luscious Mineral photo touch foundation or liquid minerals it is the latest rave in the fashion world. What make up would i need to hide acne and make my face look flawless and natural?
First, buy stuff to combat those pimples. because i believe great skin underneath will breed great makeup results. try different acne products.

for the acne scars, it will take ages for the redness to go away. believe me, i know. =] so just put on some light concealer. be careful of concealer that flakes off. i hate that. so look for something very moisturizing. and pick a concealer shade that is 1 shade lighter than your skin tone.

then, find a really good foundation. a good foundation is one that matches your skintone in natural and artificial lighting and doesn't look cakey. if you're new to makeup, try mineral foundation.

hope that helps! What make up would i need to hide acne and make my face look flawless and natural?
    Jane Iredale.

Has amazing coverage and the line has a spray that you spritz on over the face after the powder has been applied to set it in and to take away the powdery look.

You dont need to touch it up at all during the day. That spray makes it waterproof, smudgeproof, and flawless.

How do you use face prime? My make-up always looks..?

caked on when I use it, even though I only use a tiny tiny bit of foundation! Are yuo also meant to use moisturisor? Any tips?

I use MAC prep %26amp; prime BTWHow do you use face prime? My make-up always looks..?
Foundation is normally use to even out the skin tone but it won't cover blemishes and dark circles this is where the cover stick comes in handy as this will cover any blemishes and dark circles the foundation never covered I like to cleanse tone and moisturise before I apply primer then I apply foundation with a brush then take a damp sponge then blend our foundation for a more natural look then use concealer patting it in with ring finger then setting it with loose powder for a long lasting finish. Before doing face make up do eye make up first so if you make a mistake you can wipe it off and start over again without wiping away foundation and concealer hope I've helpedHow do you use face prime? My make-up always looks..?
Definitely- Make sure your skin is nice and moisturized before using a foundation. If your foundation is looking caked on, try skipping it! This will look more natural and allow your skin to breathe. Use a little concealer on any blemishes. If you still want to use an all-over product to even out skin tone, try using a tinted moisturizer.

To make the kind you already have look more natural, try watering it down a tiny bit (Put it on your fingers or a sponge, then run a tiny bit of water over it). Or, sometimes I mix my foundation with my moisturizer for a dewy, natural look.

If none of this works, and you still want to use MAC, go to your local make-up counter and ask them to show you how to apply it. They are trained in their particular brand, so they may know certain tricks or how exactly to apply it for best results.
Make sure you skin is moisturized, and also if it has to much coverage for you maybe you like to get a lighter foundation because MAC I heard tends to be pretty thick :P. Hope this helped can anyone try to answer mine please? :]

I haven't found a make-up that works. But for the chronic fatigue I started walking a mile a day and it has helped a lot, even on the days I have no energy I walk.

What can you do with make up that makes a round face look slimmer?

So my face isnt fat but its kind of wide, because of my cheeks or something I guess, and its round shaped. How do I make my face look slimmer with make up? Thank you! What can you do with make up that makes a round face look slimmer?
ya i have a round face too that looks kinda wide- take a angled brush or contouring brush- use a bronzer or contouring powder- and suck in your cheeks- and use the powder to contour your face- by applying the powder underneath your cheekbones- or the hollows of your cheeks- to sculpt your cheeks, and make your face apear less round- then blend it in a downward direction and to get rid of harsh lines- youtube face contouring or google for better instructions or more details=)What can you do with make up that makes a round face look slimmer?
contouring will be your best friend.

How do I achieve the Photoshoot looking face w/ make up, or just the Pretty girl faces, lol.?

I was just wondering how so many girls my age I see always seem to have such perfect ';make up';, but w/out a make up artist doing it for them, lol, obviously. I love make up and it's my passion, but since I'm on a budget I don't always have the money to splurge, ugh hate it, but I manage. I was just wondering how to get the pale lip, Oh so glam lashes, blush (even thouhg it looks like a lot, it's still pretty, and smoky eyes, or just dual colors, w/ out the circus act, lol.. At the moment I'm using bareminerals, So all suggestions are greatly accepted! Thank you so much! Love's it! Take care, can't wait!

I know how to do smokey eyes, but i havent in awhile so I cant explain it. I'll tell you two other great makeup styles. First, use a creamy foundation. Then, use a pink blush. Put on brown or black eyeliner thinly on the bottom lash line, put it at a small tip. Buy Maybelline New York Chai Latte (chai latte is the color). On the back of the eyeshadow it will have the back label which opens, open it and it will show a dramatic look. Follow those directions It looks amazing if you do it right, its not hard to do after the first 2 or 3 times. Then put on mascara. add lipgloss if you like.

for the second look do the same up, but instead of buying maybelline new york eyeshadow buy a revlon set that has 4 colors, its called colorstay 12 hour eyeshadow, the color is called In the Buff, which consists of shades of brown and a pink. Put eyeliner on you top lid (you already applied it to your bottom lash line). Make the top lid the thickness you want in eyeliner. Then above where you put the eyeliner on your top lid put the pink eyeshadow. Under your eyebrow put the darkest shade of brown and make it meet the pink. Then apply mascara. How do I achieve the Photoshoot looking face w/ make up, or just the Pretty girl faces, lol.?

I totally agree with Blode08. CVS contains one of the best makeup things and tehy are cheap and very good!

They last for a long time..

Try getting natural loooking makeup b/c since you are young you dont want heavy makeup!

Well hope i helped and have a great day!

If you go to CVS they normally have make up stand things in the make up section. If you go to COVER GIRL or Maybelline they have eye shadows in differnet shades. In one eye shadow packet you get say 4 shades of the same colour. This is GREAT for shadowing and making smoky eyes. Start with the lightest colour closest to the inner eye and work your way out going darker and darker... darkest colour should be on the outer lid..

MAC has a great lip gloss that fits anyone!! its called UNDERAGE.. It is a light pink and last forever!! its a nude light SEXY pink colour.

Eyes. Go for LOREAL. They have ones with white on one side, and brown or black on the other. First apply the white to your eyes, then the black/brown ontop. This makes the eye lashes MUCH longer and ends up looking fabulous.

Blush. This is a hard one. You need to be able to spend a little more in order to get a fabulous blush. Please note that blush's LAST FOREVER!!! They last years. MAC have amazing ones!!!! A make up artist will help you pick out a great shade for your skin tone!

    Hope I helped a little.

How to make my face clear up?

My face always breaks out at random times and no face washes work. It doesnt matter what I eat or how much I work out because I eat the same all the time and I will still go throught times where I have pretty good skin and I have the same workout schedule every week. I need my skin to be really clear, its the thing I am most self conscious about because my skin is never predictable, and when it breaks out, it takes a long time to clear up.
