plastic surgery?I ruined my face with make up what do i do now?
When you use make up, it doesnt allow your face to breath, so dont where foundation or powders or whatever on your face because it will make your skin worse.
Here, try using these great home remedies,
Using Lemon is the best thing to reduce the marks and blemishes on the skin. It can be applied directly on the skin.
You can also rub a lemon peel on the skin with a little sugar on it or without the sugar. After rubbing it leave it on the skin for at least 10 minutes. If you practice this regularly you can reduce the scars/marks finely.
Grate potatoes, wrap them in a cloth and take out the juice. Mix few drops of lemon juice and honey to it and apply it on your face. If you don't want to apply it all over the face then apply only on the marks. Wash off after 20 minutes. (Potato has bleaching agents, which reduces the blemishes.)
Make a mixture of tomato juice and lemon juice. You can fill it in a bottle and keep it in the refrigerator. You can apply this mixture on your face daily with a cotton ball.
Honey added in milk powder helps in reducing the blemishes.
If you have real dark blemishes on the skin make a powder of dry lemon peels and orange peels.
Drinking lots of water to keep the skin hydrate and detoxified.
Good Luck
=)
I doubt it was actually the make up that caused the flaws to your skin. It was more likely to be the normal hormonal fluctuations of youth. However, because your pores will be open and exuding more oils than normal right now, to put on the face a layer of foundation, will block the overacting pores and cause further problems...spots, blocked pores, blackheads etc.
1) Leave the foundation alone for a while.
2) Buy a good quality facial scrub and use at least daily. (gently)
3) Use a good toner to close the pores, daily at least, ideally twice a day.
4) Use a medicated, spot and blemish healing moisturizer. My favourite is Garnier matte moisturizer. It has clay in it, and this reduces soreness and swelling as well as holding spots at bay.
5) Once a week use a steam facial and then slap on a mud face pack. This will deep cleanse your face.
If you still feel naked with our make up, try a mineral face powder, or, especially now its summer, some shimmer bronzing pearls. Again, it will just put a thin layer of powder on your face, but allows you face to 'breath' too.
dont think it was the makeup,
always wash it off b4 bed and try and bye name brand things like, cover girl, maybelline,or mac
i always use sope on my face and i rarley ever get blemishes and sometimes if im too lazy,i sleep w/ my makeup on!
and remember your only 14 so you can be getting them b/c your gettin older.youll be fine.
oh alright, you should stop wearing make-up for, even tough it looks stupid/ if you can't go to school like that, even if you try hard, just put on some concealer on the blemishes that are the worst. i really recommend going to the skin doctor with it, because he can give you the best tipps,
but if you need to save money you should
.) clean your face everyday (and keep it clean inbetween)
.) after a few days wothout wearing make up use a peeling
.) use cream to keep your skin smooth (allergy tested)
.) drink loads of water (really helps!)
but use parfum free cream and don't take the cheapest products (i'm not saying they should be expensive, but keep an eye on the quality)
If you want to cover your blemishes and help them heal, get Almay water based foundation. It is made with water, not oil so it won't clog your pores. I just switched over from my oil based foundation to this almay stuff. (the oil based foundtion ruined my face as well) Now, my face is so much clearer! I highly recomend it! Good luck!
you should stop using.
when you washed your face, use toner and just simply put little lotion.
you will have a natural beauty
as for the blemish, dont' cover it, keep your skin clean!!!! then it will gone.
drink more water, sleep early.
oh also, after washing your face with warm water, try use some cold water to rinse it again. you will look very fresh!
well, that is what you have to pay to ';look cool'; when you r still only 12-14...
you ask for makeup tips and then when you r over it - it is too late.
i would say just stop using it ad do try to use Witch Hazel. i love it my self. it s natural and gets rid of redness. otherwise, you 've stepped in the adulthood a bit too early where in some cases adults have to wear makeup to cover up wrinkles and stuff
Yes, don't wear makeup for a while and wash your face a few times a day with a gentle cleanser.
Cetaphil is a good gentle cleanser.
If not wearing makeup for a while and keeping your skin clean doesn't help, it could be something hormonal (just regular ol acne that comes with that age).
sounds like an allergy. Get a really gentle cleanser and a soothing moisturiser and have a weekend without the makeup. I'm sure it's only temporary.
In future, only use hypo-allergenic make-up and maybe get someone in a shop to tell you how to apply it correctly.
hey start cleaning your face and use a toner to clean pores.
the best ever thing to stop my spots was the warming scrub of clean and clear, you find it at tescos...it works miracles,, with the toiner afterwards, you wont have a spot agian.
don't wear any face make-up, clease your face in the morning and it the night, and take some sort of acne stuff for your face. (example: proactiv, clearasil) i used to have a lot of acne but not anymore because i did that.
clean your face daily with face soap use achoal wipe clean go to sallybeauty store and get Queen Helene mint julep masque put this mask on three times a wk. moistuise lighly with vasline afer washing face this is the cheapest moisturer for skin like phorisos use crisco or mineral oil
try a mud mask and maybe use clearsil for a while. if u need to wear makup, try something less ';cakey'; like loreal mineral smooth, its a powder, but covers like foundation and is hypoallergenic :)
I agree..don't wear any makeup for awhile, sure u can still wear lipgloss/lipstick but I'd stay away from all that junk you put on your face until it clears up once everythings back to normal then I suggest using very little makeup %26amp; making it look more natrual
Buy some Noxema skin cream - wash your face faithfully every morning and evening and lay off the makeup for a week until it clears up!
If you do get a pimple, LEAVE IT ALONE!!! Let it heal on it's own.
Best wishes!
stop wearing make-up, wash your face before you go to bed, %26amp; put on a good moisturizer %26amp; make sure that moisturizer can protect you from the sun, %26amp; don't touch your face.
definently stop wearing make up for a while
clean your face every night and morning, and when you do decide to wear makeup again, try something a little more gentle and not as heavy
good luck!
you're never going to get your skin back to how it was before, and as i'm sure you know it's your own fault. stop wearnig makeup and use skin repairing cream.
your gunn ahev to get to a dermo and not wear makeup and jsut deal with it for a month until your face clears up.
Wash your face, throw away your makeup, buy some pimple cream.
Simple... don't wear makeup for a bit, and keep your face clean until it heals.
Try talcum powder. Its what my friend did. Not much, just a little.
Wash your face...?
Try using masks!
I don't think it was the make up.
Just because you do or don't wear makeup doesn't necessarily mean you will have acne or not. I have seen girls who are older 16-25 who don't wear makeup and their faces are covered in blemishes. I wear make up and I get the occasional pimple but my face is clear for the most part. First what type of make up do you wear? I use to have horrible acne and then I started wearing Bare Essentials and now my complexsion is amazing! Also do you wash your face EVERY NIGHT and EVERY MORNING? Making sure you get all of your make up off! And mosturize?? I use the Ponds Face wipes...the blue ones, nutrigena toner, and Oilay daily face lotion. Some people say you shouldn't mix what you use but since I found this combination I notice much better results. Also it is what your face likes...I can't use that proactiv it makes me break out worst! Some people swear by it!
Find makeup that allows your face to breathe. Yes Bare Essentials is expensive but they have it in cheaper brands now. I think Cover Girl has a mineral makeup. My concealer from BE works great and covers my occasional blemish completely! It is so much better for your face. It doesn't have all the bad chemicals in it and it feels great on your face! I forget I am wearing make up sometimes! Also find a face washing routine that works for you. It will take time so just because it doesn't work in a week don't give up! Don't pop any zits. It damages your skin and can cause you to break out more. Leave them alone. If you must (white heads I can't stand them) use Q-tips. Don't touch your face either!
I hate to say it but you are also 14...puberty is kicking in. Your you may genetically be prone to more acne then others. Just do the best you can with the above advice I gave...Eventually it will clear up! If it doesn't have your mom take you to a dermatologist! There is medication that helps. I do the above and I can leave the house with out makeup (except for mascara I have blond eyelashes) with out feeling wierd.
